Your First Visit

On your first appointment, we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes, prior to your appointment, in order to complete the entire patient intake packet. By having the patient intake packet completed and submitted before your visit, this allows for the patient to be seen promptly.

On the first chiropractic visit, the patient will provide a history, which briefly explains the reason for the office visit. Next, Dr. Morel will recap the patient’s concerns and clarify that the patient’s problems have been addressed. Following the history, vitals and a thorough problem-focused chiropractic exam will be performed; this permits the doctor to determine the problem and develop the best effective treatment plan.

After the exams, Dr. Morel will provide a report of findings and determine the best treatment plan. If it is found that the patient needs radiographic imaging, the patient will be informed, immediately. In most cases, succeeding this discussion is the chiropractic adjustment. Usually, patients receive their first chiropractic treatment just before the conclusion of the visit. Treatment may include: chiropractic adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. As Dr. Morel believes that it is essential that the patient be involved in their healing process, patient education and comprehension is vital in creating a speedy and effective treatment plan.

At Aligned Chiropractic, we provide a multitude of techniques including: Diversified adjusting, Thompson Drop Technique, Activator Protocols, Active Release Technique, Instrument Assisted Manipulation, Intersegmental Traction, Electrical Muscle Stimulation, Neuromuscular Re-Education, Spinal Decompression, Cold/ Low Level Laser Therapy, Therapeutic Ultrasound, and more.

If your first visit is for a chiropractic consultation, no exam or adjustment will be performed. A chiropractic consultation is a complimentary visit, which allows Dr. Morel to learn about your condition and your expectations, in order to decide if chiropractic treatment will be helpful in reaching your goals.
